at Sydney Observatory
Adult continuing education evening courses held at historic Sydney Observatory.
Presented by Dr Paul Payne using unique 3D stereo graphics, without the aid of mathematics. Four courses are currently available. Taking the novice from an introduction to the night sky to delving into the wonderful universe of Albert Einstein.


Exploring the Heavens
An introduction to the night sky. Identify the planets, stars and constellations of the night sky.

 Astronomical Concepts
An 8 week conceptual exploration of the universe. Light, quantum physics and relativity are introduced in 3D stereo graphics. A few concepts go a long way to describing the universe.

 Understanding Relativity
A 5 week introduction to Einstein's theory of Relativity. Slowing of time, the equality of energy and mass, and gravity are introduced with 3D graphics.

 Higher School Certificate Relativity
An 2 hour evening of relativity. The complex is made simple in this evening devoted to HSC physics students.
